About U-Drive:

Role Overview:
Your responsibilities will involve diagnostics, maintenance, MOT testing, and repairs on various vehicles to DVSA standards. Additionally, you'll conduct road tests, liaise with Service Advisors and the Workshop on test results and additional work requirements. Ensuring workshop standards are upheld, you'll undertake pre-planned vehicle maintenance, attend roadside breakdowns, and complete job cards in accordance with company procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily MOT Tests on vehicles in accordance with government regulations and guidelines.
• Perform thorough inspections of vehicle components and systems to ensure they meet safety and emissions standards.
• Identify and document any defects or issues found during the testing process.
• Communicate with the workshop regarding test results and report recommendations for any additional work necessary.
• Carry out minor repairs on vehicles.
• Manage the test lane , maintain good standards of cleanliness and ensure paperwork is in an orderly manner.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Positive "Can Do" attitude
• Customer service excellence, prioritizing and delivering high-quality service to meet customer expectations
  Effective communication at all levels, ensuring appropriate levels of customer service and care.
• Experience in a professional workshop environment.
• To be a certified MOT Tester.

• Have previous experience in service and repair of motor vehicles.
• Full UK Driving Licence
