The Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be a crucial part of our Manchester Team, helping to drive growth and brand awareness of our Services and Commercial Vehicles to local businesses within a 10 mile radius. This dynamic role involves interacting with prospect clients, handling, and chasing leads, cold calling, and being the main point of contact for all local B2B growth. You will work closely with the Branch Manager and National Sales Manager to meet client needs, manage business, and contribute to the overall success of the branch.

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

Responsibilities include, although are not limited to the following:

  • Creating and maintaining an active and up to date presence on LinkedIn and other social channels to connect with potential clients and generate brand awareness.
  • Create new sales and business opportunities via online prospecting, outreach, and cold calling.
  • Chase and follow up on leads, handle new business enquiries, and build relationships.
  • Act as a first point of contact for prospective clients, present a professional image in all communications and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date client records.

Skills and Experience 

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following relevant skills and competencies:

  • Experience with commercial vehicles preferred, or related automotive background.
  • Experience with B2B Sales.
  • Possess a full clean UK driving license.
  • Possess a positive and proactive "Can do" attitude.
  • Strong work ethic and resilient.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and adaptable work environment.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.

This role will be based at our office in Manchester and will report to the National Sales Manager.
