MOT Tester
We have an exciting opportunity for a MOT Tester to join our team at U-Drive!
This is a permanent post offering £31,00.00 per annum.
Reporting into the Workshop Manager, you will work a 40-hour week, Monday to Saturday on a rota basis. We are looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join our team who can work well under pressure whilst delivery a high standard of MOT testing.

Role Overview:
- Performing diagnostics, maintenance, MOT testing and repairs on a variety of vehicles to DVSA standardsRoad Test VehiclesLiaising with Service Advisors and Workshop on test result and additional work requiredIssuing relevant vehicle status once the job has been completedEnsuring the workshop standards are maintained at all timesUndertake pre-planned vehicle maintenance according to scheduleAttend roadside breakdowns as required and recover vehicle as necessaryFollowing the Company procedure, complete job card and fault procedureQualifications and Attributes:
- Positive “Can Do” attitudeCustomer Service, prioritising customers, delivering a high-quality service which meets the expectations of the customer. Responding promptly and effectively to queries and issues, continuously improving the service providedCommunication, effectively communicating at all levels from different backgrounds to ensure appropriate levels of customer service and careFull UK Driving Licence as per groups requiredGood knowledge of U-Drive servicesGood standard of education to at least secondary levelTeam playerSound general knowledge of vehicle cleaningHonest and trustworthyAbility to work under pressureRespectable presentation at all timesBenefits:
